First time in Vegas travelling with 3 other females all in our mid-twenties. This pool was AMAZING! It was memorial day long weekend and this pool was packed. The DJ's we awesome we had no trouble bringing in drinks and neither did anyone else I saw. If you're looking to party all day go here. We are already booking our trip back for Labour day long weekend and are torn to try a new hotel because we loved this pool so much.

WOW! I have visited many of the casinos over the years, but the MGM gets top ratings for their pool, I am in my mid forties not the best of shape, but I felt so comfortable and relaxed, alot of coves (hiding places) and lots of palm trees nothing like relaxing in front of a water fall having the hot sun, cold drink and staring up at a plam tree giving you just enough shade. right after you have spent a few hours cruising the lazy river, going back this May and cant wait!!!
now for all you young partyers go to Monte Carlo, more of a young crowd and definatly alot more skin plus the DJ rocks!

Lots of chairs available, decent quiet and busy areas. However, what is with no outside drinks for "guest safety"? More like guest fleecing. The Palazzo/Venetian allow outside drinks (even alcohol, after putting in a plastic cup) and have many cold water coolers so you don't have to harass the passive aggressive bartenders for a small kiddie size cup of ice and water like at MGM. I doubt I will ever stay at MGM again based on how crappy their pool has become.

THE best pool in Vegas. Girl's Trip has been there 3 summers in a row. I love the cabanas and the service. The lazy river is awesome; jump in, grab a tube and prepare to be entertained. Remember to cover your drink when you go under the waterfalls! Everyone is having a blast, no attitudes, fun times abound. Then when it's time to relax, there are plenty of lounges/cabanas to choose from that are away from the mayhem. Security is VERY tight, someone dropped their drawers as a joke and guards were there in seconds to escort him out.

Visited June 2008. We have been to the MGM about 10 times because of the awesome pool area. The lazy river is the best! The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. There's enough activity though to make it a true Vegas experience. There seems to be less and less pool waitresses though every year we go. Other than that, it's a Vegas must :)

We chose the Signature/MGM to have an above average service. Unfortunately we chose to have breakfast at the pool as we can do at home in nice weather.

The MGM pool does not serve food until 11am! Booze can be brought to you but not food, unless you are willing to hike a long way into the hotel to get something from MacDonalds or Starbucks after standing in their respective long lines and then go through security again to get into the pool area.

We moved to the Rio, a far lesser hotel which serves breakfast by their pool for a few days but must go back to the Signature MGM on the 29th of May. :'( Guess we must cook in our Signature kitchen or carry a bagel to the pool. We were hoping we could get breakfast without working in our kitchen every morning so it could be called "vacation".

I expect their AAA and Mobile star ratings will suffer next year but you know now.

Aside from that the rooms and suites are adequate for the price.

We are a family of swimmers who loved the MGM pools. There were five to choose from, and plently of lounge space. The one pool with lap lanes was, unfortunately, overrun with little kids which made it hard to swim laps. In particular, we loved the lazy river. It is open only on the weekend and inner tube rentals (at $16) are too expensive. The water in the pools was oddly salty, although the lazy river was not. We wished the pools were open later than their 6 p.m. closing time. In all it was a great swim experience.

I had an amazingly wonderful time while at the MGM during my visit for a bachelorette party. I thought I might have fun in the pool area... the experience far exceeded my expectations! I had a fabulous time!!!! People watching at its greatest, no work required while floating in the lazy river (inner tube is a must), and shade available when necessary. Yes, you have to check through security before entering, but this is a good thing it ensures only guests enter, so I was happy to oblige them.

Starbucks is over priced, even for Starbucks... but its vacation. Other food venues had similar rap-sheets of being over priced, but I came for the night life and pool... not food.

Great diversity of activities and things to see. I didn't realize I'd never left the building until almost the end of the long weekend.

LUSH & BEAUTIFUL! The entire pool area is lovely with foliage and tropical plants of all types. Grassy areas to sit and walk through are wonderful with TONS of shade! There are several different pools. Some smaller and some larger. You need to meander around the lush garden area to find each one, which is nice and cuts down on the noise level and crowds. This is one of Las Vegas VERY BEST pools and well worth the price of staying at the hotel just to use the pools!
